Clockwise from top row:
1. Distillery. Found this new beer (and the like) haven in The Fort. They are selling international beers like Stella Artois and Peroni for a very reasonable price. I got my Artois for P100. The big Absolut Vodka costs P700+ which is pretty much similar to SM. What’s good is that you can buy pulutan from the nearby Mini Stop and consume it at the bar;
2. Pares Hilton. There’s this kariton type stall near St. Andrew Church in Kalayaan St. in Makati that sells the best beef pares at a very affordable price (P30 with rice). Really, really good with calamansi;
3. Blinded Sunset. Nothing fancy with this one. I just put the blinds down while the sun was about to set. One of the best things in the office that come as free;
4. That Darn Blood Extraction. At Makati Med’s Blood Extraction Center, as part of the requirements for my check-up. I hate blood. It so happened that the nurse who did my arm was the gentlest. It’s one of the best blood extractions ever!;
5. Year of the Tiger. Shangri-La Mall’s take on the Chinese New Year. They opted to have this Chinese-inspired decoration instead of the predictable Valentine’s Day;
6. Crossroads. One of the most difficult situations you can get is probably being on a crossroads. That’s the time you become clueless on which road to take. Taken at Buendia – Makati Avenue intersection while on a jeep on my way home;
