One of those (space travel films). May isang incident na hindi na sana isinama sa pelikula. The writer even pokes fun at a possible alien encounter but the material ends up with the old gimmickry. Sayang. Sobrang cool at hip pa naman ng mga images (trademark ng mga Danny Boyle films) to a point na na-sacrifice na ang believability.

THE REAPING

Another one of those (suspense/thriller films). The good thing about this film is that it doesn’t have to be too CGI-ish. Old school ang atake at may maturity ang pagkakadirek kaya hindi s’ya nakakainis panoorin. Unforgettable sa akin ang dalawang eksena: ‘yung bloody river at ‘yung locust scene na in-execute in broad daylight.
Friends who might appreciate it: those who wish to have a good chill while enjoying a bucket of popcorn.
